Yoga-Übung

Practicing yoga regularly strengthens your body and mind. Your muscles become stronger and more supple. This increased flexibility and suppleness has positive effects on your spinal cord, your joints, and your skin’s connective tissue.

However, yoga is not only a physical exercise. It will change your life fundamentally. You will become more relaxed. Your attitude towards life will become more positive. Everyday exertions will just drip off you like raindrops on a waxed window. Your senses will become sharper and your self-confidence will grow. Your charisma will become more powerful, and not only you, but also the people around you will notice a change.

Since 2006, my courses are officially recognised and certified by all German health insurance cproviders. If you are interested in your insurance company’s offers regarding financial support for preventive courses, please contact your customer consultant.

Beginners – from the bottom up & relaxing

This course level has been developed for beginners and newcomers - independent of physical fitness or age. You will learn the 12 basic yoga postures and some preparing exercises. At this level, I also teach the first breathing and relaxation exercises,. and together we will try to reach the point of limitless inner peace . increasing our ability to concentrate und improving awareness of our bodies. This physical and mental recharge enhances our wellbeing and keeps us healthy.

Soft medium level – strengthening & relaxing

The soft medium level requires some basic knowledge about yoga acquired in a beginners’ course or in your own practice. At the soft medium level you will learn some variations of the postures (asanas) that you have learned before and further breathing exercises and advanced meditation techniques are also introduced. At this course level, we mainly focus on practicing correctly and being aware of our body in the various asanas.

Medium level – challenging & dynamic

The medium level requires a lot of experience and the knowledge acquired in the previous courses. It offers new impetus to your asana practice, and the number of variations and affirmations increases considerably. You will learn some techniques to control and direct energy through your body by means of the so called "mudras" and "bandhas" and I will show you how to relax even while practicing challenging asanas.

Meditation

Meditation is the opportunity to be aware of the here and now. It's all about reducing stress, gaining self control and being within the heart. Meditation is one of the major keys to receive inner peace and strength. Daily practice will lead to inner peace- this class will teach you how.

Yoga for the back

Yoga helps to raise on any possible level. It gives us better physical feeling and motion, relaxation and creates an inner balance. Stretching, stimulating and repairing your muscle fibers around your spine through yoga will support the healing process of your back.

Good morning Yoga

Through breathing techniques, asanas, and dynamic movement we are able to prepare body & mind for the day. This class is designed for beginners and intermediate practitioners. The class will be offered in english.

Yoga Therapy

In smaller groups the yoga experience we be shaped to your personal needs, your lifestyle and conditions. Soothing and strengthening exercises will improve balance, flexibility and power. Mental functions are benefitting as well. Concentration, awareness, stress release will enhance within this fundamental class of Yoga with asanas and theory teachings.

Lunch Yoga

A relaxing and strengthening lunch break which supports stress relief of neck and back. During this short yoga practice wellbeing will be enriched. New energy & equanimity are the benefits of the alternative lunch break.

Yoga basics

This class is giving you comprehensive fundamental experience and knowledge about the essentials of Yoga. During a 4 hours teaching of theory and exercise you will learn about 12 basic asanas, 3 basic breathing techniques, Yogic diet, meditation, positive thinking and relaxation.

Prostnatal Yoga

This yoga class is individually designed to serve mothers after giving birth. Gentle exercises will help to get back the strength of the pelvic floor and releases stress in areas which are used the most through nursing the baby.

Prenatal Yoga

While being pregnant the woman's mind and body is experiencing a huge change in emotional response. The class is giving stability for the back, flexibility for the pelvic floor, relaxation and energy for mother and child. Yoga helps to serve a better communication between mother and the unborn.

Business yoga

I also offer yoga courses at work. With my so called “business yoga”, you can enhance your health and reduce stress and tensions at the office. Especially people working in offices frequently suffer from weak and tense muscles in their necks, shoulders and backs due to sitting all the time. My business yoga addresses these problems in particular, and the exercises help to increase your staff’s ability to work under pressure and enhance their performance. Tailor-made physical exercises combined with breathing and relaxation techniques will help improve their mental and physical health.

Private yoga classes

Private yoga classes offer the opportunity to address individual needs and wishes specifically. Teacher and student jointly develop a tailor-made exercise regimen. Physical and mental conditions, such as pregnancy, sporting injury, spinal disk herniation, and burnout, are taken into consideration. Private yoga classes are also suitable for beginners, especially if they wish to attend current group courses as soon as possible. Fees on request.

Workshops

Throughout the year, I offer various yoga workshops, e.g. flow yoga, detox yoga, yoga for a strong centre, yoga for the back, etc. The symbiosis of theory and practice provides a better understanding of yoga and insights into its multifacetedness. Prices

One course comprises 10-12 units of 90 minutes, each. One unit costs € 10.
